| Rock Falls takes first step towards three-peat |
| The
Rock Falls Rockets took a 19-6 1st quarter lead
and held the Knoxville Blue Bullets to 10 total
points in the final 3 quarters to cruise to a
61-16 victory in Game 2 of the 60th Annual
Macomb/Western Holiday Tournament. The Rockets (8-1) used a balance scoring attack with six players scoring seven or more, led by Seth Blair's 11 points. Mark Lauts helped out with 12 total rebounds. Only four Blue Bullets (3-5) scored which were led by Keegan Jones with 9 points. Rock Falls advances to play Bushnell-Prairie City in Game 13 on Day 2 at 5:00 p.m. Knoxville will play Canton on the consolation side in Game 9 on Day 2 at 9:00 a.m. |
