South Fulton falls to the Titans, 48-46   December 29, 2005
See-saw battle goes to the Titans
Eight ties, eight lead changes and Monmouth-Roseville escapes Western Hall with a 48-46 victory over tournament newcomer South Fulton. Matt Wittig's runner at the buzzer would have sent the game into overtime, but his shot spun out preserving a Titan victory.

Monmouth-Roseville (10-2) survived despite only shooting 35% from the floor and was led by senior Nathan McNeely's 25 points. Aaron Heitz paced the Rebels (6-5) with 22 points and eight rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting.

South Fulton's one-year engagement at the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament was ended today. They will be replaced by Pleasant Plains in the 2006 incarnation of the tournament.

The Titans move to the consolation bracket's semifinals where they will take on Lewistown Friday morning at 10:30 at Macomb High School.
