Farmington pulls away for 62-35 win over Hamilton   December 29, 2005
Farmers in semis for first time since '01
Farmington punched their ticket to the semifinals with a 62-35 victory over the Hamilton Cardinals. It will be the Farmers' first trip to the semis of the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament since 2001.

After drawing first blood on a trey by Brice Foose, Farmington (8-3) held off several Cardinal charges in the first quarter before finally establishing a ten point lead midway through the second period. Foose went on to score 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Josh Watznauer added 10 points and eight boards for the Farmers. Michael Sullivan paced Hamilton (6-5) with 10 points while teammate Jordan Shuman saw limited action due to foul trouble and finished with seven points.

Farmington's next game will be Friday afternoon at 1:00 against the two-time defending champion Rockets of Rock Falls. Hamilton moves to the 5th place bracket Friday at 9:00 a.m. where they will face Hamilton in a rematch of the season opener for both teams. In that game, Hamilton beat B-PC 70-42.
