| Hornets put the 4th quarter clamps on Rebels |
| The
Brown County Hornets outscored South Fulton 20-2
in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 59-36
win in the consolation bracket quarterfinals at
the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament. South
Fulton's lone bucket of the final period came
with less than ten seconds remaining. Brian McNeff led Brown County (3-5) with 22 points. Nick Reynolds added 14 for the Hornets. South Fulton (4-6) was led by Cody Myers' 22 points. Brown County moves
on to a consolation semifinal Saturday morning at
9:00 at Macomb High School. Their opponent will
be the Saukees of Pittsfield. |
