B-PC holds off Knoxville for 52-44 win   December 29, 2006
B-PC ready for rematch of last year's 5th place game
Bushnell-Prairie City used a strong first quarter and then had to hold off Knoxville late to notch a 52-44 victory in the last of four consolation bracket quarterfinals today at Western Hall in the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament.

The Spartans forced 26 turnovers to help them overcome a 35 percent shooting performance.

Lance Murphy led Bushnell-Prairie City (6-5) with 17 points. Kyle Grady was tops for Knoxville (3-10) with 17 points and 7 rebounds.

NOTES:
- Knoxville's last tournament win came in 2004 when they defeated Monmouth to reach the consolation championship.
