| Brown County erases eight point halftime deficit |
| The
Brown County Hornets scored the first eight
points of the third quarter to knot things up at
23 and Josh Babb hit two free throws with :04
remaining to clinch a 45-43 victory over the
Pittsfield Saukees. Babb finished with 27 points on 9-of-17 shooting for Brown County (4-5) in the game marked by seven ties and four lead changes. Babb also collected eight rebounds. Pittsfield (8-5) got a double-double from Garrett Howland who was credited with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Brown County will be going for their second consecutive Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament consolation championship where they will meet up with Illini Central tonight at 5:00 in Western Hall. |
