| The
Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans scored on three of
their final four three-point attempts over the
game's closing moments, but it wasn't enough as
the Cougars of Illini Central survived sub-par
shooting to end B-PC's tournament, 42-41. Neither team shot the ball
very well as each team was in the 30%
neighborhood for the game. And the teams combined
for 52 turnovers in the game.
Illini Central
(8-5) was led by Alex Adams who scored 12 while
teammate Landon Frye pulled down a dozen
rebounds.
Bushnell-Prairie
City (6-6) was paced by Adam Shaw who was
credited with 12 points and a 2006
tournament-high 17 rebounds.
Illini Central
will face Brown County in the consolation
championship tonight at 5:00 in Western Hall.
