Illini Central heads to the consolation final
The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans scored on three of their final four three-point attempts over the game's closing moments, but it wasn't enough as the Cougars of Illini Central survived sub-par shooting to end B-PC's tournament, 42-41.

Neither team shot the ball very well as each team was in the 30% neighborhood for the game. And the teams combined for 52 turnovers in the game.

Illini Central (8-5) was led by Alex Adams who scored 12 while teammate Landon Frye pulled down a dozen rebounds.

Bushnell-Prairie City (6-6) was paced by Adam Shaw who was credited with 12 points and a 2006 tournament-high 17 rebounds.

Illini Central will face Brown County in the consolation championship tonight at 5:00 in Western Hall.
