Indians keep Little Giants off the line to move to 5th place game
Canton only made three of 23 three-point field goal attempts and never tried a free throw in a 50-31 loss to cross-county rival Lewistown ending the Little Giants' run of 32 consecutive appearances at the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament. Those appearances have netted three championships (1990, 1999, 2002), two tournament MVPs (Shannon Pritchard, 1986; Wes Emberton, 2003), and nine final four appearances.

Lewistown's (9-3) balanced scoring attack was led by Cory Bishop and Clayton Hatfill who had 13 apiece. Scott Shaeffer added 12 for the Indians.

Canton (2-7) was led by Spencer Coonradt who finished with 9 points.

Lewistown will face Abingdon for 5th place tonight at 6:30 in Western Hall.
