Five reach double-digits for WNC
The Warsaw/Nauvoo-Colusa Wildcats forced 20 Knoxville turnovers and never trailed in notching an opening round win, 75-31, over the Blue Bullets in Western Hall at the Macomb-Western Holiday Basketball Tournament.

It took less than five minutes for WNC (9-1) to open up a ten-point lead en route to their runaway victory. The Wildcats also won the battle of the boards out-rebounding Knoxville (4-8) 47-26.

Warsaw/Nauvoo-Colusa was led by Will Carr's 16 points and 12 rebounds while Luke Bavery added 14 points. Also reaching double-digit scoring for WNC was Ross Puchatzke (12) while Cody Harmon and Ben Kearse each added 10.

Bryce Ball led Knoxville with 13 points.

Knoxville moves to the consolation bracket where they will play Hamilton tomorrow morning at 9:00. The Wildcats will take on Abingdon in the quarterfinals with their tipoff in Western Hall slated for 5:00.
