which went a long way to keeping the Cougars of
Illini Central at bay as they earned a 52-37 win.
For the game, the Titans were 17-of-18 from the
stripe. After
leading by as many as 17 in the first half,
Monmouth-Roseville (10-2) watched Illini Central
(4-8) whittle away until they closed the gap to
just three points. All ten of the second half M-R
free throws came after the lead was cut to three.

turned in a 20 point performance for the
victorious Titans who will now play the winner of
Pittsfield vs. Western tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. Ben
Gillen added 13 for Monmouth-Roseville.
Illini Central's
leading scorer was Cole Brownfield who was 4-of-9
from the field.
