Warsaw/Nauvoo-Colusa players clocked 32 minutes
of playing-time in a 48-44 win over Pleasant
Plains for the 5th place trophy at the 2007
Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament. Both of those
teams found themselves having to fight for a
trophy after being ousted from the winners
bracket in overtime quarterfinal losses. WNC (11-2) got 15 points from Ben Kearse while Cody Harmon added 11. Evan Baietto was the only Pleasant Plains (12-2) player to break the double-digit scoring milestone recording 12 points and adding eight rebounds. The Cardinals came into the tournament undefeated and the #1 seed. |
