| Knoxville's
last scheduled Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament
turned into a struggle quickly as the West
Hancock Titans posted a 68-38 victory over the
Blue Bullets. Knoxville held a one-point lead
until the 2:38 mark of the first quarter when
West Hancock's (7-2) Will Carr canned two free
throws to give his squad a lead they would never
relinquish. Carr finished with 13 points while
teammate Ryan Brunenn led all scorers with 15.
Carr also pulled down a tournament single-game
best 15 rebounds.
Knoxville (0-12),
who is not returning to the tournament next year,
was led by Bryce Ball's 12 points.
West Hancock will
face intra-county foe Illini West tomorrow
morning at 9:00 a.m. in the consolation
semifinals.
