Illini Central bounces back for consolation win
After shooting over 71 percent from the charity stripe during opening day action, Illini Central kept the hot free throw hand in canning 21 of 25 attempts (84%) in a 75-39 victory over Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon.

BPCA (2-11) trailed the whole way and was led by sophomore Mitchell Murphy's 11 points.

Illini Central (8-2) earned a 42-13 advantage in points off of turnovers. Alex Bradshaw had eight steals in the game for the Cougars who were led in the scoring column by Brett Montgomery with 13. Danny Harman and Carlos Riobo were also reached double-digits for IC.

Illini Central will face Kewanee tomorrow morning at 10:30 at Macomb High School in a consolation semifinal.
