| Titans hold off Illini West |

Hancock led wire-to-wire, but never by more than
11, and earned a berth into the consolation
championship after they defeated Illini West
50-42 at Macomb High School. Illini West (2-5)
got as close as two during fourth quarter action,
but could never break through to lead. Ser Whitaker led all scorers with 17 points while his Charger teammate Jacob Schmudlach added 13. Will Carr and Ryan Runge scored 16 apiece for West Hancock (8-2). Carr also collected 11 rebounds. Kewanee awaits West Hancock in a consolation championship game scheduled for a 5:00 tipoff tonight in Western Hall. |
