Saukee defense quiets BPCA
BPCA, scoreless until Cain Fayhee hit a jumper at the 4:21 mark of the second quarter, fell in the opening round to the #2 seed Pittsfield Saukees, 53-20.

Pittsfield (11-0) limited BPCA (4-6) to just nine field goal attempts in the first half and went to the lockerroom with a 32-2 lead. The Saukees forced 27 Spartan turnovers and enjoyed a 30-6 advantage in points scored off turnovers.

Pittsfield moves to the quarterfinals where they will face the Macomb vs. Western winner at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. BPCA faces the Macomb/Western loser tomorrow at 1:00 in the consolation bracket. Both games will be played at Western Hall.
