Midwest Central returns to the 5th place game
Illini Central started fast, but Midwest Central turned things around during the middle two quarters to elminate the Cougars, 74-60.

Midwest Central (6-4) went on a 10-0 run beginning at the tail end of the opening quarter to knot things up at 14. Eventually, the Raiders would find themselves leading by 20 thanks to 59% shooting, including 56% (9 of 16) on three-pointers.

Freshman Jared Entwistle made all 7 of his free throws en route to an 18 point performance for Illini Central (4-8) while Carlos Riobo added 14.

Midwest Central was paced by Michael Berg who finished with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Ian Gaskill (14) and Brice Reining (10) each finished with double-digit scoring.

The Raiders return to the 5th place game for the second consecutive tournament where they face the Pittsfield vs. Brown County winner. In 2008, Lewistown denied Midwst Central that 5th place trophy with a 55-53 win. Tonight's game tips off at 6:30.
