| Pittsfield to try for a trophy tonight |
| Another
five minute scoring drought, this time in the
second quarter, hindered Brown County's efforts
as Pittsfield advanced to the 5th place contest
with a 57-37 win over the Hornets. Brown County (7-3) held an 11-10 lead late in the first quarter before Pittsfield (12-1) exploded for an 11-1 run to put some distance between them and the Hornets. Dalton Hoover, on 7 of 7 shooting, led the Saukees with 14 points while Jordan Cawthon and Brad Hamilton added 13 and 12, respectively. Jacob Wilson and Matthew Chaney scored 9 each to pace the Hornets. Pittsfield battles Midwest Central for 5th place tonight at 6:30 in Western Hall. |
