West Hancock repeats as consolation champs
Both Western and West Hancock shot a blistering 57.1% from beyond the arc in the 2009 consolation championship game at the Macomb-Western Holiday Basketball Tournament. The problem for Western was the Titans made twice as many (8 of 14) and rolled to a 51-36 win.

It's two consecutive consolation titles for West Hancock (10-2) and it's their third win over Western this season.

Garrett Robbins made 7 of his 13 field goal attempts and finished with 16 points to lead Western (7-7).

The Titans got 14 points from Mac Schlicher while Seth Pinkston, who made 4 of 7 from 3-point range, finished with 12. Austin Boyer also wound up with 10 to round out the double-digit scorers for West Hancock.
