| Saukees repeat as third place finishers |
| The
Pittsfield Saukees trophy case is getting crowded
with trophies from the Macomb-Western Holiday
Tournament. The Saukees picked up the third place
hardware with a 47-26 win over the West Hancock
Titans. The game was won in the paint where Pittsfield (8-6) outscored the Titans 32-10. The short range game was a big factor in allowing Pittsfield to shoot 63 percent from the field for the contest. Dalton Hoover scored his 1000th career point during the contest on a thunderous dunk midway through the 2nd period. Hoover finished the night with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Kennedy Kattelman added 13 points in the win. West Hancock (10-3) was led by Paxton Harmon with 12 points. West Hancock takes home the fourth place trophy. They were winners of the consolation trophy in both 2008 and 2009. |
