West Hancock over Farmington 47-45   December 30, 2016
It all started with a large lead from the Saukees of Pittsfieldin what would eventually become their 45-41 win over Canton in the championship game of the 71st annual Macomb Western Holiday Tournament. That large lead would be countered by a big offensive push from the Little Giants, and the game would stay tight from then on out.

Pittsfield would be able to cling to their lead and never let go of it, and never let the game come to even.

Noah Mendenhall of Pittsfieldwas the high scorer of the game with 20, and Korbyn Personett had a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

For Canton, Garrett Brant had 19. Cooper Smith was held to just 6 but also had 10 rebounds and 7 assits. Smith would eventually be named tournament MVP.

That is all for this year, we will see you next year for the 72nd running of the Macomb Western Holiday Basketball tournament.
