The second game of the 5th place bracket was tied for just the first 30 seconds.  After that, the Farmington Farmers (12-2) led to the final buzzer, using a 17-5 first quarter scoring advantage to defeat the Illini Bluffs Tigers (5-9) 58-37. 

Farmington held Illini Bluffs to single-digit scoring in the first, third and fourth quarters to push their lead to as many as 23.  Farmington was helped out by using a 20-4 scoring advantage contributions from their bench.

Farmington was led by 18 points and game-high 11 rebounds from Jaden Rutledge.  Joining Rutledge in double figure scoring were Ben Martin with 15 points and Dalton Powell with 11 points along with seven rebounds.  The Farmers out-rebounded the Tigers 39-27 and had 12 assists on 19 made shots. 

Cam Scott of Illini Bluffs led all scorers with 23 points and a team-high 8 rebounds.  Reid Sondgeroth provided eight points and five rebounds.  The Tigers ended shooting 28% for the game, 19% from outside the arc. 

Farmington moves on to play Jacksonville in the 5th place game.  Tip-off is scheduled for tonight at 6:30 pm.
