The first semifinal game in the Championship bracket had Monmouth-Roseville (9-6) with a 1-point lead at half.  However, the 3rd quarter was the difference maker as West Hancock (12-1) outscored Monmouth-Roseville 16-8 to pull out a 46-42 victory.  West Hancock played their starters from start to finish & played an error free game with only 6 turnovers.  Monmouth-Roseville only had 13 turnovers in the game, but resulted in 16 points off turnovers for West Hancock. 

West Hancock was led by Drake Hammel with 20 points and a game high 9 rebounds.  Joining Hammel in double figure scoring was Lucas Dorethy with 10 points.  West Hancock led both teams in assists and steals with an 12-8 and 8-4 advantage, respectively.

Jamonny Skinner of Monmouth-Roseville led the team in scoring with 14 points and a team high 8 rebounds.  Conner Olsen also had 11 points. 

West Hancock moves on to the Championship game and plays the winner of the Eureka/Camp Point Central matchup.  Tip off is scheduled for 9:30 pm.  The Titans of Monmouth Roseville will play the 3rd place game against the loser of that same Eureka/CPC game.
