| Notes:
Macomb’s Tony Moore scored 118 points and
pulled down 60 rebounds in four games earning him
his third consecutive MVP award. Quincy Catholic Boys goes
on to bring home fourth in the 1974 Class A state
basketball tournament. At the WIU Super-sectional
they defeated Franklin 70-66, and at Champaign
they defeated Prophetstown 55-44 before losing to
Ottawa Marquette 65-52 and Chicago Christian
71-62.
Monmouth, in the
1974 Class A state basketball tournament, was
defeated by Prophetstown 77-60 at the East Moline
Super-sectional.
