Quincy Catholic Boys’ Chuck Grawe missed the
front end of a one and bonus with 4 seconds
remaining in overtime and St. Benedict’s Lou
Negron rebounded to steal the win. In the 1975 Class A state
basketball tournament Bushnell-Prairie City was
defeated by Port Byron 42-33 at the East Moline
Super-sectional and Quincy Catholic Boys was
defeated by Chatham Glenwood 54-51 in overtime at
the WIU Super-sectional.
