Notes:
Rhodes, who later played at WIU, broke Tony Moore’s
scoring record by tallying 125 points in four
games, including 40 against Forman in the
consolation semifinals. Moore’s record had
stood since 1972.
Pittsfield in the 1990 Class A tournament
defeated Mendon Unity 62-53 at the WIU
Super-Sectional. They later lost in the first
round of the Elite 8 in Champaign to Norris City
74-50. They finished with a 30-2 season record.
Farmington in the 1990 Class A tournament
defeated Hanover (River Ridge) 89-72 at the East
Moline Super-Sectional. They later lost in the
first round of the Elite 8 in Champaign to Aurora
Christian 48-42. |
