2005 was Brown
County's first appearance in the
tournament since 1988.
The Hornets lost their only
two tournament games last year. It marked
the first time since returning to the
tournament in 2005 that Brown County did
not take home a trophy.
Their 69-28 loss last year
to Farmington was a 2006 Class A
quarterfinal rematch. The Farmers won the
Carver Arena matchup, as well.
Brown County pulled down 50
rebounds in their opening round loss to
Hamilton in 2005. That is just 11
rebounds shy of the single-game

Brown County's best
tournament finish was third place in
1960. They were also consolation
runners-up in 1961 and 1967 while
capturing the consolation championship in
both 2005 and 2006.
