| BPCA set a record in 2007
for fewest points scored in two games at
46. 2007
marked the first year of the co-op
between B-PC and Avon for boys
basketball. BPCA is looking for their
first tournament win since joining
forces.
Avon was a
tournament participant in four events
(1991-1994). During that stretch, the
Trojans were winless in eight M-WHT
games.
In 2005,
Zach Stuaan became the first Spartan to
be named to the all-tournament team since
1988 when a trio of B-PC players received
the honor: Rob Louthain, Fred Serven and
Todd Teel.
The
Spartans have not won a M-WHT opening
round game since 2005 when they beat
Canton 49-46.
Despite
falling in the 5th place game in 2005, it
marked the first time since 1992 that the
Spartans made it to a trophy-round game.
B-PC last
won a trophy in 1991 when they finished
3rd.
Fred
Serven shared Tournament MVP honors with
Payson's Derek Banta in 1988.
Bart
Arthur was Tournament MVP in 1975. 25
years later, his son, Brad, playing for
Abingdon, would earn All-Tournament
honors.
In 1966,
Alan Rose took Tournament MVP honors.
