Canton Tournament Trivia:

2005's first-round loss to Bushnell-Priarie City (49-46) was the Little Giant's first since 2001when they lost by two to A-C Central.

Canton returns to the tournament after spending the past two holiday seasons playing in Charleston.

Wes Emberton was the 2003 tournament MVP and the only Little Giant to be named to the all-tournament team that year.

Canton has appeared in 111 tournament games. Only Macomb (142) and Pittsfield (123) have played more M-WHT contests through the years.

In winning the 2002 title, Canton overcame the Southern Rebels ... the team that knocked them out of the tourney the year prior.

Shannon Pritchard was the 1986 Tourney MVP.

Alex Henseler made 30 free throws during the 1970 tournament which stands today as a record.

In 1979, Canton set a tournament record when they made 36 free throws in a game.
