Farmington Tournament Trivia:
Since their tournament championship in 1997, the Farmers have never finished better than 3rd place which they have done three times: 2001, 2005 & 2006.

Farmington avenged last season's opening round loss to Kewanee with a 60-46 win in the regional quarterfinals. That would be the Farmer's only post-season win as they would lose to Peoria Manual, the eventual 2A state champs, 70-40 in the regional semis.

Farmington's 56-42 loss to Monmouth-Roseville in the 2006 semifinals was the only loss the Farmers experienced until the Class A State Semifinals.

Farmington's 2006-07 season ended with a loss to Teutopolis, 51-38, in the 3rd place game at the IHSA Class 'A' State Tournament in Peoria.

A championship run in the inaugural tournament in 1946 meant Farmington was able to keep a streak alive in which the football team went unbeaten in 10 games and the basketball team in 12 games.

Seth Nelson took Tournament MVP honors in 1997.

After winning the Macomb-Western Holiday Tourney, the 1997-98 season concluded with a trip to state where they finished 3rd.
