2020 Tournament Canceled

The 2020 installment of the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament has been canceled due to Covid-19 restrictions on large gatherings. The next tournament will be the 75th event and the committee has exciting plans in store for the big milestone! Stay safe and we will see you next year!

Game 25 (3rd Place) Recap: Abingdon-Avon 37, West Hancock 39

The Tornadoes of Abingdon-Avon (10-4) found themselves in a 25-21 deficit at halftime of the 3rd place game against the Titans of West Hancock (9-5).  They closed that gap and left the third quarter tied 35-35.  With the momentum, the Tornadoes took over and closed out strong, winning by eight.  Abingdon-Avon takes home the 3rd …

Game 23 (Consolation Championship) Recap: Wethersfield 61, Brown County 40

Coming into this game, Wethersfield’s Coltin Quagliano had the tournament high score with 32 points.  He tied his own score from that game and his Flying Geese (9-4) sailed passed the Brown County Hornets (7-6) by a score of 61-40.  The Hornets’ Nathan Hendricker finished with a double double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. …

Game 18 Recap: Wethersfield 43, Lewistown 38
